Kenn is a self taught artist. Over the years he has been commissioned to do portraits and wooden sculptures. In January, 2004 Kenn purchased a used lathe from a friend and soon realized that he could combine his woodworking with his art as a wood turner. Kenn uses both exotic and locally found woods. Each piece is unique and one of a kind. Kenn likes to highlight characteristics in the wood that others might consider flaws. Kenn’s pieces are currently on display at the Berlin Creek Gallery in Berlin and the Cyrus Custom Framing & Art Gallery in Canton, Ohio. Kenn’s work is in private collections in Wayne and Holmes counties. He also has collectors in Columbus and Toledo Ohio.
